The Idea
I asked a dozen people that had worked with me over the past fifteen years a simple question, “If I gave the gift of a day of my time do you know a dozen people that would benefit from spending a day with me?” They all said yes…
The Outcome
The initial events in 2008 and early 2009 proved so popular that I’ve decided to do it again and have re-booked the same venue…

Problem solver. Teacher. Philosopher. Maverick. – Whatever the label Neil has this unique way of gently creating shifts for people so that they can truly shine.
A creative writer and coach, Neil has more than twenty years of experience in corporate and personal development. Working most of the time commercially the idea of giving something back brought about the concept of ‘The gift of a day’. This will be the fifth day following the success of the days in 2008 and early 2009.
The day will provide everyone who attends with a sound framework for shifting themselves and their businesses forward.
To date, Neil has trained and coached just under seven thousand people, specialising in the cultural aspects of communication, intent, and interpersonal issues. He ‘coaches the coaches’ and has developed depth around some of the methodologies that are unique to Shirlaws and Think Feel Know, two leading coaching companies
He is also the author (as Neil James) of the International best seller The A-Z of Positive Thinking and has just published his second book, The Freedom Tree.
Neil has an honours degree in Engineering. For his work in the field of personal development he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts in 1998.
